Who We Are

Our Story

Insightful Skills Training begins with curiosity and the belief that skills, when shared, can change lives.

Our founder, Daraghma, has always loved problem-solving. His journey began with a passion for math, earning a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, but he wanted something more applied to make a real difference in the world. This led him to pursue a Master’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering in the United States, where he learned engineering techniques and tools for continuous improvement.

Daraghma worked in engineering roles in California and beyond, leading continuous improvement initiatives, providing training on process optimization, and helping companies analyze data and achieve meaningful results. Along the way, he realized that the greatest impact isn’t just improving systems; it’s empowering people to use the tools themselves.

Teaching became his calling. He taught at universities and organizations in different topics, including programming, problem solving, and business mathematics. He also delivered over 100 workshops and training sessions in digital tools and continuous improvement. In addition, he has contributed to research on academic performance and learning outcomes.

In 2026, he moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and decided it was time to create his own company, Insightful Skills Training, a company dedicated to practical, actionable, confidence-building workshops that help professionals and teams learn skills they can apply immediately to make a difference.

Today, Insightful Skills Training delivers workshops, tools, and experiences designed for professionals who want to learn, grow, and make an impact — one actionable skill at a time.

Meet Your Instructor

Insightful Skills Training delivers practical, hands-on data and digital tools training for professionals and organizations. Our founder and lead instructor, Abdullah Abdulrazik (Daraghma), brings years of experience in data analysis, continuous improvement, and adult education. 

With a Master’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering, a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, multiple certifications in Machine Learning, Supply Chain Management, and Six Sigma, and experience in data analysis and engineering at Fortune 100 companies, as well as teaching at universities, companies and organizations in Canada and the USA, Daraghma focuses on delivering practical, actionable skills that learners can apply immediately. He is also a co-author of "Institutional Research Initiatives in Higher Education" (Routledge, 2018) and has conducted research on academic performance and learning outcomes.
